A company in Johannesburg is looking for a Technical Sales Representative to sell welding equipment and welding consumables.

Purpose of the Job:
? To technically introduce and market the company?s full range of products and provide long lasting wear solutions and ensure sales targets are met.
? Manage customer relationships and maximise sales value with a specific focus in the area that will be dedicated to you.

Qualifications and Competencies:
? Grade 12 with mathematics and science
? Sales and Marketing certificate/diploma will be advantageous
? 3 ? 5 Years? experience in a Sales Representative role selling welding equipment/consumables
? Considerable knowledge of welding equipment and welding consumables
? NetSuite ? CRM module experience will be advantageous
? Computer knowledge, specifically MS Office applications
? Gmail, Google Sheets and Google Drive

? Ensure monthly sales target as agreed with Sales Manager is met.
? Build customer/client relationships.
? Supply sales forecasting per area and market segments.
? Prepare sales quotations, based on pricing structure, on a daily basis.
? Visit customers/potential customers and do high level product related presentations.
? Identify new distribution opportunities.
? Assist in managing credit limits and debtor performance.
? Forecast and establish sales targets and budgets.
? Responsible for own travel arrangements and expense reconciliations

? Customer focused with a passion to provide excellent customer service at all times.
? Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
? A high level of numeracy with good attention to detail including familiarity with data analysis and reporting is non-negotiable.

Salary is market related.
