As a Content Producer/Copywriter, you will be given your own portfolio of conferences & publication to create, manage, develop and deliver high quality events.

Your role will include:

- To research & analyse the feasibility of developing potential conference topics into commercially viable events

- To communicate with key industry figures to determine the validity of proposed topic, sub-themes, timing and location

- To research markets for conference sponsorship, identify target markets for sponsorship & develop unique selling points (USPs) to drive sponsorship

- To write the conference programme, invite speakers, liaise with speakers to ensure attendance, organise or assist in the organising of the event, as the case may be & to attend to all matters relating to &/or ancillary to the successful conducting of the event

- To write effective sales copy for conference brochures & other promotional material as appropriate

- To liaise with marketing director to organise event marketing, promotion, publicity, sales & related campaigns

- To identify marketing partners & develop relationships to promote events & reach targeted audiences

- To research & record competitive events

- To oversee design of the conference brochure ensuring key selling points are emphasised

- To liaise with speakers throughout the conference production cycle

- To assist with direct sales for attendance to prospective delegates & for potential sponsors, when required

- To assist in any logistics planning, pre-event logistics management, as well as on-site and post-event logistics

- To oversee the event from start to finish

- To maintain appropriate documentations for each conference

- To travel to events internationally

- To develop contacts at conferences & proactively seek to identify new opportunities

- To carry out post-event analysis for management?s assessment & using such information to influence future events

- Undertaking such other duties as directed by the Directors

Essential Requirements:

- 3+ years in organising international events & conferences

- Relevant experience of undertaking marketing & corporate communications work

- Excellent written & oral communications skills

- Strong editing skills, syntax & proofreading experience. (writing samples required)

- Experience in working within a multicultural & international environment

- Demonstrable expertise in budgeting & ability to managing projects to tight deadlines

- The ability to work both independently & as part of a team

- Strong work ethic & attention to quality and detail

- Ability to juggle multiple projects through highly effective organisational skills

- Ability to make sound decisions quickly & efficiently

- Bachelor?s degree in journalism or communication is advantage/relevant experience in the field.
