Junior Support Engineer Job Spec
Our Support Engineers are professional technical resources responsible for providing first class support to a
wide range of customers, across multiple platforms. The Junior Support position plays a vital role in providing
first line support to our customer.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
? Answering support calls and assisting customers
? Creating tickets on behalf of customers
? Assigning support tickets to the appropriate engineers
? Actioning faults with our Vendors
? Diagnose and resolve technical issues
? Follow standard help desk procedures
? Log all help desk interactions
? Redirect problems to correct resource
? Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
? Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions
? Inform management of recurring problems
? Stay current with system information, changes and updates
Education and Experience
? Knowledge of relevant infrastructure.
? Knowledge and experience of customer service practices
? Related experience and training in troubleshooting and providing help desk support
? CCNA
